The Bizarre New Pokémon GO Event

After a while, Pokémon GO decided to surprise its fans with yet another curious event GO Tour Poké Ball Prep Rally has arrived on Friday, February 18. Better gear up because the tournament lasts only a week, and there is certainly a lot to explore. Improve your knowledge of Pokémon and share an exciting adventure with friends.

Don’t worry if you run out of Pokeballs because GO Tour brings you a Timed Research feature that will grant you new Pokeballs. Moreover, Filed Research has some quests for you, and the rewards will be not only general Pokeballs but also Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.

The app has always brought us bizarre and wild-themed events, and this year is no different. Pokémon GO has presented a limited-time Ball Guy Costume that you can acquire during the GO Tour. This character has previously appeared at the Galar Pokémon League, and as you’ve probably guessed from the name, has a Pokeball on its head.

The event also features the Hisuian Electrode that will help you further evolve your Hisuian Voltorb. Users can also expect to see original Koffing, Wailmer, Voltorm, Foongus, Marill, Solosis, Galarian Stunkfisk, Jigglypuff, and some evolved Pokémon like Amoonguss.

You can now find Shiny Pokémon in the wild that come from the Kanto region; the update features all 151 of them. The event ends on Friday, February 25, so don’t waste your chance to see the bizarre world of Pokémon GO yourself. The game is available for free on both iOS and Android devices, and all you need to do is download it from the app store and enable geolocation.
