YouTube Music users with Android devices can now share their favorite tracks using Snapchat. There have been rumors about the introduction of such an option since 2020. Then it became known that the developers were working on a "Share" feature through this social network and Instagram. It took them quite some time to get it, as it only became available to Android smartphone owners this week. Users of Apple devices received it back in October last year.

To share the song currently playing on your YouTube Music, open the menu next to it (the button with three vertical dots) and pick the "Share" option. After that, a full list of available platforms, applications, and even sites where you can send a track will open. Now among them, there is also Snapchat. Using this option, you can share a song with all related elements: cover art, title, application logo, and a link to listen. Also, you can determine where exactly you send information, to "My Story" or personally to friends from your contacts.

As you can see, using this feature is quite simple. Weirdly, it took so long to implement. By the way, the Instagram integration doesn't work very well and is probably still in development. It is noteworthy that YouTube Music, first of all, added Snapchat to the list of applications available for sharing. Perhaps this option is really more in demand than Instagram.

Speaking of updates, if you're an avid Snapchat user, you'll love the new feature that allows you to share your location in real-time. You will be able to track the whereabouts of your loved ones or let your friends know you're coming soon. There is a similar tool, for example, in the Telegram messenger.

How often do you use Snapchat? What about YouTube Music? Is the new option convenient and useful for you?
