Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Coming This Year

At the annual Pokemon Presents, The Pokemon Company announced a lot of gems to look forward to in the near future. The ninth generation of Pokemon games will definitely please us with its new products. In particular, some details have appeared regarding the Scarlet and Violet project, which is well known to many.

The developers have released a picturesque trailer, which reveals a lot about the new world and its creatures, but it does not tell anything in detail about the plot. Judging by the landscapes, players will be running on a location that resembles the real Spain (or another country in this region): mountains, orange trees, lawns, and a lot of sunlight. It is also evidenced by the buildings shown in the trailer. You may well see similar houses walking along the streets of Spain or, for example, Portugal. It is reported that it will be an open-world game; that is, you can move between locations without annoying loading screens. By the way, pay attention to the graphics: even in the early build, it looks good.

However, our attention was drawn not so much by the future adventure game atmosphere as by the new Pokemons. It’s not a surprise since they are the center of the entire universe. At the start, we are all waiting for three amazing characters, whose names, by the way, also refer to Spain. A Grass Cat named Sprigatito (similar to a Spanish “spring kitten”) has the ability to overgrow. A Fire Croc Fuecoco (“fire crocodile”) can blaze. And a Duckling Pokemon Quaxly has a “Torrent” ability. Probably, each of them will have a cut-scene that will showcase their personalities.

An exact launch date for this game has yet to be announced. According to some reports, it will most likely become available at the end of 2022, presumably in November.
